Music Center Spotlight Awards
Kicking 2010 off with a bang!
In the latter part of 2009, a number of high school aged DKCBA students auditioned for the Music Center Spotlight Awards High School Arts
Competition. Spotlight Awards were established in 1988 to provide aspiring performing and visual artists a means of gaining experience in
auditioning, while earning the potential for region-wide recognition of their hard work. Semi-finalists perform in a second round of auditions on
March 7, 2010, with two finalists from each discipline, receiving invitations to perform in the Spotlight Gala on April 24, 2010. Because of the
very high level of competition, advancing in this program has always proven very difficult. Spotlight Awards attracts the best of Southern
California's young artists. Making it through to the second round is an incredible honor in itself.

On December 28, 2009 Music Center announced the semi-finalists for the 2009-2010 season. Please join us in congratulating the following
