School Policies & Holidays

Tuition is on the 1st of each month and considered past due after the 5th
First month of Tuition must be paid at time of registration.
Tuition paid after the 5th will be charged a $10.00 late fee. A $20 fee is charged for all returned
checks.
Tuition is based on 4 weeks in a month. Extra classes in months with 5 weeks make-up for
studio closures.
Tuition is non-refundable and not prorated for partial attendance.
Any changes to your original schedule must be submitted in writing, to the office, or you will be
charged accordingly.
Credits WILL NOT be given for missed classes.
No credit will be given for holidays or studio closures.
Make up classes MUST be taken in the same month that the payment occurred or forfeited.
A $15 re-registration fee will be assessed if classes are missed for more than 1 month. Injury
absences are excluded with doctor's waiver.
45 minute classes are counted as one hour for tuition purposes.
Individual class rate available only for non-registered dancers.
Private classes must be cancelled 24 hours in advance or the full amount will be charged

All other school closures will be posted in advance

INSURANCE
Dmitri Kulev Classical Ballet Academy does not carry medical insurance for its students. It is required that
all dance students be covered by their own family insurance policies, and if accidents or injuries occur, it is
understood that the student's own medical policy is their only source of reimbursement. DKCBA must be
advised of pre-existing physical and medical conditions of the student.

OTHER POLICIES
No food or drinks are allowed in the studio. DKBCA is not responsible for any lost, damaged items left or
lost by the students. Parents are welcome to observe the class from the viewing areas. Please do not disturb
classes. No street shoes are allowed in the studios.

NO CAMERAS OR VIDEO EQUIPMENT ARE ALLOWED AT DKCBA
