2011 Summer Dance Intensives An outstanding faculty of resident and guest teachers will provide caring and careful instruction to further each young dancer's technical and artistic development. Students will receive a comprehensive dance education that includes ballet technique, pointe and variations classes based on the Russian School as well as partnering, character, and contemporary dance forms. The summer curriculum will be augmented by informational seminars on topics important to the young dancer such as injury prevention, wellness and nutrition, dance history, music, make-up, and career preparation. The program will culminate in an end of session performance.
